A Victorian silver Salver, by John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater, hallmarked London, 1885, of shaped circular form with leaf capped beaded rim, raised on three ball and claw feet, with engraved foliate decoration and central presentation inscription 'Presented to Henry Lancelot Walter Godwin Esq., by the Members of the Friern Barnet & New Southgate Conservative Association..... as a slight recognition of his unwearying services in the Constitutional Cause..... 22nd June 1886', 36.5cm diameter, approx weight 35ozt.
